Towards the rear early, Laws Of Indices came through between horses a furlong out to strike the lead and was then challenged on his outside by Lucky Vega (Lope de Vega), doing best in the run to the line to score by half a length with Artician (Dark Angel) in third.
Laws Of Indices was purchased by agent Dermot Farrington for €8000 at the Goffs Autumn Sale and has now won two of his three starts and over €62,000.
He is the best of four winners out of the three-time Irish winner Sampers (Exceed And Excel). The granddam Gujarat (Distant View) an unraced half-sister to Prix Petite Etoile at Deauville winner Privet Hedge (First Defence).

Irish 2000 Gns winner Power (Oasis Dream) commenced his stud career for Coolmore in Ireland and shuttled top Cambridge Stud in New Zealand. He now stands at Oaklands Stud in Queensland, Australia.
Laws Of Indices is inbred 4×4 to Danzig out of a mare by Exceed And Excel (Danehill) and Power has sired Gr2 Gift Of Power, Gr3 Peace Envoy and Listed winner Respin on a similar Danehill (Danzig) cross.
