Princess Noor is the first SW for Not This Time after demolishing her rivals in Sunday’s Gr1 Debutante Stakes (7f) for two-year-old fillies.
Racing for just the second time, Princess Noor broke awkwardly, bumping My Girl Red in the process, before pressing forward to race in a three wide position.
Moving to challenge with Forest Caraway around the home turn, Princess Noor cleared away from her rivals in the home straight, cantering 6-1/2 lengths clear of Forest Caraway (Bodemeister) with Illumination (Medaglia d’Oro) in third.
A $135,000 Keeneland September yearling, Princess Noor sold for $1.35m as a two-year-old at Ocala and has now won both her starts for Bob Baffert.
Her dam Sheza Smoke Show (Wilko) won the Gr3 Senorita Stakes at Santa Anita with the granddam Avery Hall (A P Jet) a restricted Listed winner and the third dam Royal Form (Dynaformer) winner of the Roamin Rachel Stakes.
Gr3 winner Not This Time (Giant’s Causeway) stands at Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky and currently has nine winners from 23 first-crop runners.
