Saturday’s Grand Prix de Compiegne winner Motamarris is SW35 for Le Havre.
Motamarris has won four of his five starts, his only defeat when third in last year’s Prix du Jockey-Club.
Bred and raced by Shaswell Stud, Motamarris is one of six winners left by the Listed Placed Thamaret (Anabaa). He is half-brother to Longchamp winner and Listed placed Saraaba (New Approach) and Chantilly winner and Listed placed Riqa (Dubawi), the dam of Gr3 Prix de Cabourg at Deauville winner Tantheem (Teofilo).
Another half-sister Wadyhatta (Cape Cross) won twice in France and is the dam of Thursday’s Gr3 Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot winner Santiago (Galileo).
Thamaret is a three-quarter sister to Prix du Jockey-Club winner and sire Anabaa Blue (Anabaa) and half-sister to Gr1 Prix Jacques le Marois winner and sire Tamayuz (Gulch).
Prix de Jockey-Club winner Le Havre (Noverre) is the sire of four Gr1 winners and is advertised at €50,00 at Haras de Montfort & Preaux in 2020.
He also has Gr3 winner Zghorta Dance out of a mare by Anabaa (Danzig).
