Kodiac enjoyed a Royal Ascot 2yo feature double on Saturday with Gr2 Coventry Stakes winner Nando Parrado following up Campanelle’s Gr2 Queen Mary Stakes win.
The Stonestreet Farm-owned Campanelle (pictured) sold at Tattersalls as a yearling, is 2×4 to Danehill and the 55th stakes winner for Kodiac.
She is the best of four winners left by Janina (Namid), winner of the Listed Marygate Stakes at York with her granddam Lady Dominatrix (Danehill Dancer) winner of the Gr3 World Trophy at Newbury.
Coventry Stakes winner Nando Parrado is SW56 for Kodiac.
A half-brother to stakes performers Dubai Horizon (Poet’s Voice) and Muntadeb (Invincible Spirit), their dam Chibola (Roy) a Gr3 winner in Argentina and a sister to Gr1 winner Chollo.
Kodiac stands at Tally Ho Stud in Ireland where his fee in 2020 is advertised at €65,000.
