Maamora made all the running to win Sunday’s Atalanta Stakes (8f) for fillies and mares to become SW187 for Dubawi.
Maamora was able to hold off the late rally from Billesdon Brook (Champs Elysees) and score by a half length with Lavender’s Blue (Sea The Stars) filling the minor placing.
Maamora is a half-sister to two winners as well as Harlech (Pivotal), the dam of Australian Gr2 winner Hungry Heart (Frankel).
The dam Zoowraa (Azamour) won the Listed Radley Stakes at Newbury and the granddam is Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood winner and Gr3 placed Beraysim (Lion Cavern).
Champion at two and three, Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) is advertised at £250,000 at Dalham Hall Stud in 2020.
