The King’s Horses is first-crop SW4 for Time Test winning Sunday’s Criterium Nazionale (1200m) in Rome.
Making most of the running, The King’s Horse came away over the final 100m to defeat Ask My Glory (Cotai Glory) by three lengths with You Are Beautiful (Adaay) close up third.
It is the third win from four starts for The King’s Horses, a 10,000gns Tattersalls October yearling and also Gr3-placed in the Premio Primi Passi.
The dam Natty Bumppo (Kheleyf) was unraced and a half-sister to three stakes winners vix., Gr3 1000 Gns Trial at Leopardstown winner Know It All (Lord Kanaloa), Gr3 Flying Five at The Curragh winner Astrophysical Jet (Dubawi) and Gr3 Park Stakes at The Curragh winner Coral Wave (Rock Of Gibraltar) while another half-sister Granola (Makfi) is the dam of Listed winner Brunch (Harbour Watch)
Dual Gr2-winner Time Test (Dubawi) shuttles between the National Stud in Newmarket and Little Avondale Stud in New Zealand.
