Fev Rover is the second SW for Gutaifan after winning Tuesday’s Star Stakes (7f) for two-year-old fillies at Sandown.
Smothered away towards the rail passing halfway, Fev Rover split horses two furlongs out and stayed on strongly up the hill to defeat Dubai Fountain (Teofilo) by one length with Setarhe (Footstepsinthesand) a head away third in the field of seven.

Fev Rover is the third winner for her dam Laurelita (High Chaparral). The granddam Chervil (Dansili) is a winning half-sister to three stakes winners including Gr1 Yellow Ribbon Stakes at Santa Anita winner Light Jig (Danehill), the dam of Gr1 Hollywood Derby winner Seek Again (Speightstown).
The third-dam Nashmeel (Blushing Groom) won the Gr2 Prix d’Astarte at Deauville and runner-up in the Gr1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.
This the second crop of racing age for two-year-old Gr2 winner Gutaifan (Dark Angel) also the sire in 2020 of UK Listed winner Sardinia Sunset and Italian Gr3-placed Raifan.
