First SW for Goken

Sunday’s Prix la Fleche (1000m) at Chantilly winner Livachope is the first stakes winner for Goken (Kendargent).

Bred and raced by Alain Chopard, Livachope has won both her starts to date. Striking the front at halfway she went on to defeat Pom Malpic (Pomellato) by three-quarters of a length with Winvalchope (Kheleyf) a further five lengths away in third.

She is the only foal to race out of Longchamp winner and Listed Criterium de Vitesse at Longchamp third Laia Chope (Soave).

The granddam dam Chopinette (Sin Kiang) is a half-sister to the dam of the Gr3 Prix du Bois winner Cosachope (Soave).

Dual Gr3 winner Goken (Kendargent) stands at Haras de Colleville where he was advertised for this season at €3,000.

He is currently the leading first-season sire in Europe with five winners and four placegetters.
