Alpen Rose is SW 73 for Sea The Stars winning the Prix Miss Satamixa (1500m) on the fibresand at Deauville.
Smothered away midfield past halfway, Alpen Rose was ridden along into the home straight and made steady progress to gain a head victory over Quiet Times (Reliable Man) with Animal Fever (Animal Kingdom) a short-head away third in a driving finish.
It is the third win from seven starts for the Godolphin-owned Alpen Rose, a €750,000 Goffs Orby yearling and previously third in the Gr2 May Hill Stakes at Doncaster when trained by Charlie Appleby.
Her dam Valais Girl (Holy Roman Emperor) a winner at Newbury at two and a half-sister to Faslen (Fasliyev), twice a winner at two in France, placed in the Gr3 Prix du Bois at Maisons-Laffitte and the the dam of three-time UK Listed winner Don’t Be (Cape Cross).
The granddam Ellen (Machiavellian) was unraced and a half-sister to three stakes winners incl Gr3 Winter Derby at Lingfield winner Gentleman’s Deal (Danehill) and Gr3 Superior Mile at Haydock winner Hathal (Speightstown).
The third-dam is 1000 Guineas winner Sleepytime (Royal Academy).
