Dayoutoftheoffice had her task made easier when the warm favourite Beautiful Memories stumbled out of the barriers and effectively out of the race but there was no doubting the merit of the win as Dayoutoftheoffice raced past Make Mischief in the home straight and drew away to defeat Make Mischief (Into Mischief) by six lengths with Hopeful Princess (Not This Time) filling the minor place.
It is the second win from as many starts for Dayoutoftheoffice, bred by Siena Farms which shares in the ownership with Tim Hamm.
