Ain’t Easy is SW100 for Into Mischief winning Friday’s Gr2 Chandelier Stakes (8.5f) for 2yo fillies at Santa Anita.

Settled just off the early speed, Ain’t Easy came through to challenge into the home straight and then powered to a 4-3/4 length victory over Electric Ride (Daredevil).

A $400,000 Keeneland September yearling, Ain’t Easy has won both her starts.

Ain’t Easy is also the 45th Graded winner for her sire, advertised at $US250,000 at Spendthrift Farm Kentucky in 2021.

Her dam Ameristralia (Fastnet Rock) won in Australia and Gr3-placed in the Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes at Caulfield. She is a sister to Japanese Gr3 Lord Derby Challenge Trophy at Nakayama winner Fiano Romano.

The granddam Heart Ashley (Lion Heart) winner of the Gr3 Cicada Stakes at Aqueduct and a three-quarter sister to Gr3 Railbird Stakes at Hollywood Park winner Ashley’s Kitten (Tale Of The Cat) as well as half-sister to Gr1 Santa Anita Gold Cup winner Cupid (Tapit) and Listed winner Indianapolis (Medaglia d’Oro).
