Collinsbay made his challenge in the home straight, reaching the lead inside the final 200m and then drawing away to defeat Flag’s Up (War Command) by 1-1/2 lengths with Zuglin (Power) close up third.
It is the first win in eight starts for Collinsbay, sold for 50,000gns at the Tattersalls Horses-In-Training Sale in October.
