Le Don De Vie is SW25 for Leroidesanimaux after winning Saturday’s Listed August Stakes (11.5f) at Windsor.
Le Don de Vie came to challenge on the outside two furlongs out and was then driven out by Hollie Doyle to defeat Communique (Casamento) by 1-3/4 lengths.
It is the fourth win from 12 starts for Le Don De Vie, a 50,000gns Tattersalls October Book 2 yearling, then sold for £460,000 at last year’s Goffs London Sale and now races in the colours of Australian-based Aziz Kheir.
Le Don De Vie is the only foal to race to date for Leaderene (Selkirk), a winner six times in the UK and a half-sister to Gr1 Prix de l’Opera at Longchamp winner Lady Marian (Nayef), the dam of Gr2 Grand Prix de Deauville winner Loxley (New Approach), and also the Gr3 German winner Lucidor (Zafonic).
The granddam La Felicita (Shareef Dancer) a winner in Germany and Listed placed.
Gr1 winner Leroidesanimaux (Candy Stripes) retired to Stonewall Stud in Kentucky and was later sold to Lanwades Stud in Newmarket.
