Good Effort became the 144th stakes winner for Shamardal when winning the Listed Cleves Stakes (6f) on the all-weather track at Lingfield on February 1.
The five-year-old, bred by Rabbah Bloodtock, is 4×4 to Mr Prospector, a grandson of Grade 1 Garden City Breeders’ Cup Handicap winner Indy Five Hundred (A P Indy) and has now won five of his 20 starts.
Shamardal is listed as ‘private’ in 2020 at Kildangan Stud in Ireland.
