Sheela is the first SW for The United States winning the Storm Bird Stakes (1000m) for 2yos at Vaal on debut.

Sheela met with interference at the start  but once allowed to balance up came with a big finish to defeat Social Image (Pomodoro) going away with Hope Is Power (Soft Falling Rain) in third. (pic: Highveld Racing)

Sheela is the only foal of Trip To India (Trippi), a winner in South Africa and placed in the Listed Swallow Stakes at Turffontein.

Trip To India is a half-sister to Gr3-placed Ganesh Talai (Philanthropist) while the granddam Indian Torrent (Gulch) was unraced and a half-sister to Prix de Boulogne winner Indian Choice (With Approval).

The third-dam is French Listed winner Cheyenne Dream (Dancing Brave).

Irish-bred Gr1 winner in Australia, The United States (Galileo) has only 11 live foals in his first-crop after suffering a foot injury at Moutonshoek

in South Africa and Sheela is his first runner.
