Mintd is SW8 for Olympic Glory winning Saturday’s Gr3 Mint Julep Stakes (8.5f) for females at Churchill Downs.
Mintd enjoyed an economical run smothered away along the inside before angling out around the home turn then finished best to defeat the favourite Juliet Foxtrot (Dansili) by half a length.
Previously Listed placed in Ireland, Mintd is now the winner of four of her nine starts.
Her granddam Arthur’s Girl (Hernando) finished runner-up in the Gr2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot and a half-sister to Swettenham Stud Fillies Trial winner Apple Charlotte (Royal Applause).
The third-dam Maid Of Camelot (Caerleon) won the Lupe Stakes at Goodwood.
Gr1 winner Olympic Glory (Choisir) also shuttled to Australia for three seasons. He now stands at the Haras de Bouquetot in France where he is advertised at €5000 in 2021.
