Gr3 Kindergarten Stakes (1200m) at Randwick winner Doubtland is the 71st stakes winner for Not A Single Doubt.
The Hawkes Racing-trained two-year-old has won both his starts and is the second stakes winner for his dam. Gr.3 placed Miss Sharapova (Ustinov) after the Australian Listed winner Pretty Fast (Not A Single Doubt).
Doubtland is also a three-quarter brother to Gr.2 Challenge Stakes at Randwick winner and Gr.1 placed Villa Verde (Not A Single Doubt), a half-sister to Miss Sharapova.
Further back Doubtland descends from Gr2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot winner Rory’s Rocket (Roan Rocket).
Pulmonary disease ended Not A Single Doubt’s active days at Arrowfield Stud earlier this year. His 71 stakes winners come from 908 runners.
Doubtland’s broodmare sire Ustinov is by Seeking The Gold (Mr Prospector) and Not A Single Doubt has enjoyed good success with mares from the Mr Prospector sire line, notably this year’s Goldden Slipper Stakes winner Farnan (Street Cry) as well as Gr.1 winners Scales Of Justice (Umatilla), Extreme Choice (Hussonet) and Samadoubt (Gold Fever).
