Hurricane Lane hit top speed inside the final furlong as Roman Empire began to tire and at the line it was Hurricane Lane forging three-quarters of a length clear of Megallan (Kingman) with High Definition (Galileo) taking the minor prize ahead of Roman Empire.
It is the third win from as many starts for the Godolphin-owned Hurricane Lane, a 200,000gns Tattersalls October yearling.
