The Grade 3 Kyodo News Service Hai (1800m) winner Darlington Hall is the 51st stakes winner for New Approach.

The Godolphin-owned 3yo is inbred 3×4 to three-quarter brothers Sadler’s Wells and Nureyev and has won two of his four starts, placing in the other two for trainer Tetsuya Kimura.

Bred by Canning Bloodstock, Darlington Hall sold for 70,000gns as a foal at the Tattersalls December Sale.

Champion at 2 and 3 in Europe, New Approach (Galileo) won eight of his 11 races including the Derby at Epsom. He is advertised at £30,000 at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket in 2020.
