Gr3 Niigata Daishoten (2000m) winner Tosen Surya is SW5 for Lohengrin.
Owned and bred by Takaya Shimakawa, Tosen Surya has now won five of his 28 starts. Inbred 4×4 to Halo, he is the best of three foals to have raced out of Tosen Gracia (Durandal), a half-sister to Gr2 Nikkei Shinshun Hai at Kyoto winner T M Precure (Paradise Creek).
Lohengrin (Singspiel) won the Gr2 Yomiuri Milers Cup at six and the Gr2 Nakayama Kinen as an eight-year-old. He stands at Lex Stud on Hokkaido in Japan.
His champion 2yo colt Logo Type and Gr3 winner Vous Etes Jolie are also inbred to Halo.
