Firnas was in second place around the home turn and then gradually asserted over Saltarin Dubai (E Dubai) to score by half a length with Casey Jones (Casamento) four lengths away third with Pakistan Star in fourth.
It is the fourth win in 11 starts for Firnas, a 1.6m gns Tattersalls yearling when sold by Watership Down Stud, who commenced his career in England including a win at Newmarket.
He is a brother to the Listed-placed High End and a half-brother to Listed-placed Treasury Devil (Bernardini), Crystal Moment (Distorted Humor) and Crystany (Green Desert), the dam of Listed-placed Vivianite (Teofilo).
