Sunday’s Grand Prix de Lyon (2400m) winner Styledargent is the fourth SW for Style Vendome.
Styledargent raced near the front until the home turn before gradually asserting his superiority ro defeat Sublimis (Shamardal) by one length with Ateem (Dark Angel) a further 1-3/4 lrngths away in third.
Styledargent was led out unsold at €100,000 at last year;s Arqana Arc sale and has now won four of his nine races.
Inbred 3×4 to Danzig, he is one of two winners left to date by Feriadargent (Kendargent), a half-sister to Gr3 Prix du Palais Royal at Longchamp winner Lunasalt (Salse).
The granddam Lunafairy (Always Fair) won the Gr3 Prix de Sandringham at Chantilly and a half-sister to stakes winners Luazur, lorymaya and Luna Sacra.
Poule d’Essai des Poulains winner Style Vendome (Anabaa) commenced his stud career under the Al Shaqab banner and is now standing at the Haras du Grand Courgeon where he is advertised at €2500 in 2020.
He also has Gr3 winner Diamond Vendome out of a Kendargent mare like Styledargent.
