Sunday’s Gr3 Derby Trial at Baden-Baden winner Soul Train is SW 35 for Manduro.
A half-brother to stakes placed Linngaro (Linngari) and Love And Peace (Linngari), Soul Train is the best of five winners left by Brazilian Gr1 winner Indochine (Special Nash), a half-sister to Gr2 winner Ladyttore (Redattore).
Champion and three-time Gr1 winner Manduro (Monsun) is inbred 3×4 to Dschingis Khan (Tamerlane) and has sired six Gr1 winners headed by champion stayer Vazirabad.
Soul Train is out of a mare by Special Nash (Nashwan) and Manduro has Gr1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Ultra out of a mare by Nashwan (Blushing Groom) as well as French Gr3 winner Kolonel out of a mare by Swain (Nashwan).
Manduro also has Listed winners Duca Di Mantova and True Story with Blushing Groom (Red God) as their maternal grandsire.
Manduro is advertised at €7,000 at the Haras du Logis in 2020.
