33 for Blame

Saiydabad is SW 33 for Blame remaining unbeaten in Tuesday’s Prix de Suresnes (2000m) at Chantilly.

Covered up behind the early speed until into the home straight, Saiydabad was eased off heels by Christophe Soumillon to accelerate into the lead 200m out and hold the persistent challenge of Absurde (Fastnet Rock) to score by a half length with Baha Mar (Siyouni) a further 1-1/2 lengths away in third.

HH The Aga Khan-homebred Saiydabad has won all three of his starts for Jean-Claude Rouget and is the first winner for Gr3 Prix de Lieurey at Deauville winner and Gr1 Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville second Sarkiyla.

Sarkiyla (Oasis Dream) is a half-sister to Sarvana (Dubai Destination ), the dam of Gr3 Prix Greffulhe at Lyon winner and Gr1 Grand Prix de Paris at ParisLongchamp third Gold Trip (Outstrip).

Further back the fourth dam Safita (Habitat) won the Listed Prix de la Calonne at Deauville.

Saiydabad is 4×4 Danzig and Breeder’s Cup Classic winner Blame (Arch) has Gr1 winner Marley’s Freedom with a similar duplication.
