322 for Galileo

Delphi is SW 322 for Galileo after leading all the way in the Nijinsky Stakes (12f) at Leopardstown.

Delphi has won his last three starts since being fitted with blinkers and he set a solid gallop here, clear two furlongs out and never looking in danger of defeat, going on to defeat Numen (Galileo) by 4-1/4 lengths with Aunt Bee (Australia) a half-length off third.

Delphi is a brother to Gr2 Blandford Stakes at The Curragh placed Credenza, their dam Bye Bye Birdie  (Oasis Dream) winner of the Gr3 Balanchine Stakes at The Curragh at two.

The granddam Slink (Selkirk) is an unraced sister  to Gr1 Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp winner Sulk and a half-sister to Gr1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf winner Dank (Dansili) and Gr2 winner and The Derby runner-up Eagle Mountain (Rock Of Gibraltar).

The fourth dam is Gr1 Prix Robert Papin and Gr1 Prix Marcel Boussac winner Masarika (Thatch).
