Bred in Ireland by a partnership including Coolmore and Laurie Macri, he is the best winner to date for Australian champion Atlantic Jewel (Fastnet Rock), whose four Gr1 wins included the 1000 Gns, Caulfield and Memsie Stakes.
Atlantic Jewel is a half-sister to the 1000 Gns winner Commanding Jewel (Commands) and the fourth dam is the 1988 Gr1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Pass The Peace (Alzao).
Galileo (Sadler’s Wells) has enjoyed good success with mares by Danehill and his sons and has the likes of Frankel, Highland Reel, Minding, Noble Mission, Circus Maximus etc bred this way.
