Saturday’s Grade 3 Florida Oaks (1 1/16th miles) on turf winner Outburst is the second stakes winner from the first-crop of Group 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Outstrip.
Also the winner of the Group 3 Champagne Stakes over seven furlongs at two, Outstrip went on to finish third behind Kingman and Night Of Thunder in the Group 1 St James’s Palace Stakes the following season at three.
Standing under the Darley banner at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket, Outstrip currently has 25 winners from 68 runners including the English juvenile Listed winner Flippa The Strippa.
