20 for Per Incanto

Lost And Running is SW20 for Per Incanto winning Saturday’s Luskin Star Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill.

Lost And Running led to the home turn and momentarily looked in trouble early in the home straight before accelerating clear to defeat True Detective (Shamus Award) by 2-1/4 lengths with Dealmaker (Dundeel) a further 1-1/4 lengths off third.

It is the sixth win from seven starts for Lost And Running, a $40,000 Inglis Melbourne Premier yearling.

He is the only named foal of his dam Dreamlife (Danroad), a sister to Gr3 Vamos Stakes at Launceston winner Kiss Me Ketut and half-sister to New Zealand Listed winner Fast Love (Fastnet Rock), the dam of Furphy Plate at Flemington winner Kaonic (Savabeel), and to the Listed Sunline Vase at Ellerslie winner A Chance To Dream (Volksraad).

Italian Gr3 winner Per Incanto has Gr1 winner Bonham out of a mare by Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) plus Gr3 winners Belle Fascino and Miss Aotearoa out of mares by sons of Danehill.
