15 for Dundeel

She’s Ideel is SW15 for Dundeel winning the Gr3 Kingston Town Stakes (2000m) at Randwick.

Enjoying a trouble free run along the rails, She’s Ideel was able to peel off the heels of the leader Entente into the home straight and quickened into the lead 200m out to win comfortably, Montefilia (Kermadec) finishing fast for second ahead of Entente (Dundeel).

Previously Gr1-placed in the Tancred and the Warwick Stakes, She’s Ideel is now the winner of six of her 23 starts with earnings of $973,575.

She is a half-sister to four winners including New Zealand winner Elusive Treasure (Northern Meteor), also Gr1-placed in the Herbie Dyke Stakes at Te Rapa.

Their dam Ana’s Mail (Anabaa) a winner twice at Flemington and a sister to Gr3 Skyline Stakes at Rosehill runner-up Emerging Star.

Ana’s Mail is also a half-sister to Gr3 Wellington Stakes at Trentham winner Shanzero (Danzero) and Listed Doveton Stakes at Caulfield winner What’s The Mail (Flying Spur).

The fourth dam Copperama (Comeram) won the Gr1 Thousand Guineas at Caulfield.

Gr1 winner Dundeel (High Chaparral) has enjoyed good success with Danzig-line mares including Atyaab (Gr1), Super Seth (Gr1), Victoria Quay (Gr2), Entente (Gr3) and Cutadeel.

The stallion is advertised at $66,000 at Arrowfield Stud in 2021.
