Sorrel is SW145 for Dansili winning the River Eden Fillies’ Stakes (13f) at Lingfield.
Racing just behind the leaders to the home turn, Sorrel was ridden clear into the home straight and was untroubled to defeat Elizabethofaragon (Galileo) by 1-3/4 lengths with Domino Darling (Golden Horn) close up third.
It is the third win from seven starts for Sorrel, raced by breeders George Strawbridge and James Wigan.
Sorrel is a half-sister to Gr2 May Hill Stakes at Doncaster winner Agnes Stewart (Lawman), their dam Anice Stellato (Dalakhani) a winner at Newmarket at two.
