Bred by Robert Norton, Dandalla first sold for €15,500 as a foal at Goffs then €22,000 as a Tattersalls Ireland September yearling.
Her dam Chellalla (Elnadim) win five times in England and Italy and a half-sister to Criterium Femminile at Rome winner Konkan (Aussie Rules). The granddam Cheloca (Selkirk) was placed in Italy and a half-sister to Italian Listed winner Chalin and French Listed winner Canasita.
The fourth dam is Gr3 Prix des Reservoirs at Longchamp winner Edinburgh, the dam of Gr1 Prix du Cadran winner Sought Out (Rainbow Quest), herself the dam of Epsom Derby winner North Light (Danehill).
Dandy Man is advertised at €15,000 at Ballyhane Stud in Ireland in 2020.
