Shout The Bar led all the way to land Saturday’s Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill) at just her fourth start.
She is the 13th Gr.1 winner for Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice), and the second in as many weeks following the win of Farnan in the Golden Slipper Stakes, also trained by the Waterhouse/Bott partnership.
All 13 Gr.1 winners are out of mares by different sires and Not A Single Doubt has worked across a range of pedigree. Farnan is 3×4 to Danehill (Danzig) and Not A Single Doubt also has Gr.2 winner Gunnison with a duplication of Danehill.
Shout The Bar’s only duplication in five generations is three strains of Northern Dancer, all in the fifth remove.
