Widden reduce 2020 fees

Widden Stud has announced reduced fees for all its stallions in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Zoustar (pictured) heads the roster at $121,000 ($154,000 in 2019) with his Gr2 winning son Zousain joining him on $$19,800.

Trapeze Artist will stand at $77,000 ($88,000 in 2019), Nicconi at $27,500 ($38,500), Written By at $22,000 ($24,750) Star Witness $22,000 ($27,500), Your Song ($13,750), Supido ($9,900),  Stratum Star $8,800 ($9,900), and Outreach $5,500($7,700).

“In light of the current global situation resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic and ensuing financial downturn, we have taken the decision to reduce our fees by an average 20% in a bid to assist breeders through these unprecedented events,” Antony Thompson said in a statement.

“We are mindful of doing all we can to support breeders and believe Australia is well placed to go forward as we emerge from this crisis.

“Our stallions are priced this year to put breeders back on track after a very challenging period for all of us.”

All fees are inclusive of GST.
