Saturday’s Queen Adelaide Stakes at Morphettville winner Forever Free is the 168th stakes winner for Exceed And Excel.
Unbeaten in three starts, Forever Free is 4×5 to My Charmer through Lomond and Seattle Dancer and a sister to dual Gr3 winner Thermal Current, their dam Soaressa (Twining) a winner of the L.R. Proud Miss Stakes at Morphettville.
Forever Free (pictured) is also 3×4 to Danzig and Exceed And Excel (Danehill) has Gr1 winners Guelph, Mr Stunning and Microphone with duplications of Danzig (Northern Dancer).
Exceed And Excel was represented by SW169 later in the day when Shrouded In Mist landed the Gr2 Queen Of The South.
The Peter Katelanis homebred emulated her half-sister Into The Mist (Redoute’s Choice) in winning the Queen Of The South, had previously been Listed placed in the Balaklava Cup.
Exceed And Excel will stand for $132,000 at Darley Kelvinside in 2020.
