Ima Single Man is 5×4 to Easy Date through her sire descendants Snippets and Not A Single Doubt as well 5×5 to Dancing Show, through her sire descendants Redoute’s Choice and Hurricane Sky.
Ima Single Man (green jacket, pictured) is by Gingerbread Man, an Australian-bred son of Shamardal which won the Singapore Guineas and four other local listed events before being repatriated to stand at Yarradale Stud in West Australia.
Gingerbread Man’s granddam Sydney’s Spy is by Snippets with Ima Single Man out of the Listed winner Single Spice, a daughter of Not A Single Doubt.
Duplicating Easy Date, mostly combining Not A Single Doubt and Snippets, has resulted in 13 stakes winners to date with the dual Gr.1 winner Miracles Of Life (Not A Single Doubt) the best example along with Gr.2 winners Champagne Cuddles (Not A Single Doubt) and Derryn (Hinchinbrook), the latter now at stud in New Zealand.
Sold for $5,000 at the Inglis Scone sale when carrying Snippets, Easy Date herself was by Grand Chaudiere (Northern Dancer) and left four stakes winners from 16 foals, notably Gr1 winner Snippets (Lunchtime) and Gr2 Apollo Stakes winner Quick Score (Pag Asa).
Her daughter Singles Bar (Rory’s Jester) won twice and was Listed placed. She left the dual Listed winner Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) while her stakes placed daughters Hanky Panky (Anabaa) and Natural Is My Name (Naturalism) left stakes winners Come Hither (Redoute’s Choice), Fun In Flight (Fusaichi Pegasus) and Zizou (Fusaichi Pegasus).
Asawir (Last Tycoon – Easy Date) won at Listed level and is the granddam of Gr.1 winner Rewaaya (Singspiel) while True Blonde (Naturalism – Easy Date) won at Listed level and is the granddam of Gr1 Golden Slipper Stakes winner Forensics (Flying Spur).
