31 Gr1 for Pivotal

English visitor Addeybb became the 31st Group 1 winner for Pivotal when leading most of the way to win the Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill for William Haggas.

Inbred 3×4 to Nureyev (Northern Dancer), Addeybb had previously finished runner-up in the Gr1 Champion Stakes at Ascot and has now won eight of his 16 starts.  P

Pivotal (Nureyev) also has the Gr1 Haydock Sprint Cup winner Regal Parade out of a Kingmambo (Mr Prospector) mare and has done well with mares from the Mr Prospector (Raise A Native) sire line, notably Gr1 winners Excellent Art (Seeking The Gold), Falco (Unbridled), African Story (Gone West), Amanee (Woodman) and  Izzi Top (Zafonic).

Addeybb is a half-brother to five winners including Meer Kat (Red Ransom), a winner at two at Bath and subsequently placed in the Gr.3 Generous Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Their dam Bush Cat (Kingmambo) won over seven furlongs at two in Great Britain and finished fourth in the 2003 L.R. Cheshire Oaks. She a half-sister to North American L.R. sprint winners Busha’ (Mercer Mill) and Rip ’n’ Run (Mercer Mill).

The granddam Arbusha (Danzig) won the L.R. Schwarzgold Rennen at Hoppegarten and finished third in the Gr.3 Royal Whip at the Curragh. She a sister to Gr.3 Goldene Peitsche winner and sire Nicholas (Danzig) and half-sister to Gr.1 Irish St Leger winner Strategic Choice (Alleged).

Addeyb’s fourth dam Levee (Hill Prince) won the Coaching Club American Oaks, Beldame and Selima Stakes and the dam of champion Shuvee (Nashua).
