Fulgentia is the first stakes winner for Territories winning Sunday’s Premio Ubaldo Pandolfi (1200m) for 2yo fillies at Rome.
Fulgentia finished powerfully over the final 200m to run down Virgin Isla (Mehmas) and win going away by 2-1/4 lengths with Sunshine Day (Arcano) in third.
Fulgentia sold for £6,000 as a Goffs UK Silver yearling and was previously Listed-placed.
Her dam India Spirit (Dr Fong) won 10 races and a half-sister to Gitano Hernando (Hernando) winner of the Gr1 Goodwood Stakes at Santa Anita and the Singapore International Cup.
Gr1 Prix Jean Prat winner Territories (Invincible Spirit) retired to stud in 2017 and shuttles between Darley studs in England and Australia.
