Bred by Michael Christian’s Saconi Thoroughbreds, Bella Nipotina is the only named foal of Bella Orfana (Star Witness), a three-quarter sister to Gr2 Gilgai Stakes at Flemington winner Hallowell Belle (Starcraft) and a half-sister to Gr3 WA Champion Fillies Stakes winner Fuddle Dee Duddle (Red Ransom).
The granddam Bella Inez (Beautiful Crown) is a sister to Gr1 Caulfield Guineas winner In Top Swing.
Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) was Australia’s leading first-season sire last season and also shuttled to Coolmore in Ireland.
He is advertised at $38,500 at Coolmore’s Hunter Valley base in 2020.
