Skymax is SW8 for Maxios winning the Australia Day Cup (2400m) at Warwick Farm.
The Mark Newnham-trained Skymax made much of the running then duelled with Wolfe (Novellist) duelled in the home straight with Skymax prevailing by a short-neck.
Skymax commenced his career in the UK and is now the winner of four of his 15 starts having sold as a yearling for €49,000 at the BBAG sales in Germany.

The granddam Seven Magicians (Silver Hawk) finished runner-up in the Lingfield Oaks Trial and a half-sister to Lupe Stakes at Goodwood winner Ocean Silk (Dynaformer).
The third-dam Mambo Jambo (Kingmambo) a winning sister to Champion Divine Proportions and sister-in-blood to three-time Gr1 winner and sire Whipper (Miesque’s Son).
Gr1 winner Maxios (Monsun) is standing in Ireland under the Coolmore banner at Castlehyde Stud in 2021 where he is advertised at €7000.
