Fast Raaj is out of Interesting, a daughter of Raven’s Pass (Elusive Quality) with Iffraaj and Interesting bred on the same Gone West / Northern Dancer cross.
The granddam With Fascination (Dayjur) won the Gr3 Prix de Cabourg at Deauville and runner-up in the Gr1 Prix Morny and Prix Salamandre.
The third-dam Fran’s Valentine (Saros) won the Gr1 Kentucky Oaks and Gr1 Hollywood Oaks.
Fast Raaj is 3×4 Gone West (Mr Prospector), and the second stakes winner for Iffraaj bred this way while Iffraaj’s Wootton Basset has three stakes winners bred this way, notably the Gr1 Prix de l’Abbaye winner Wooded, now at stud in France.
Iffraaj formerly shuttled to Haunui Farm in New Zealand and is now a permanent resident of Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket where he is advertised at £20,000.
