Mallory tracked the strong pace set by Total Babe to the home straight, fifth along the inside around the home turn and then finished determinedly to wear down Total Babe (I Am Invincible) to score by a length with Vianello (Teofilo) running on into third.
Mallory is the second stakes winner out of Panorama Ridge (Empire Maker) after the New Zealand Listed winner and Gr2 Matamata Breeders’ Stakes runner-up Sassy ’N’ Smart (Smart Missile).
Panorama Ridge has a yearling colt by Pariah (Redoute’s Choice) catalogued as lot 233 in the Inglis Premier sale in March.
The granddam Nebraska Tornado (Storm Cat) won the Prix de Diane and Prix du Moulin and a half-sister to Gr2 Prix Eugene Adam winner Burning Sun (Danzig) and Prix d’Angerville winner Mirabilis (Lear Fan), the dam of Gr3 Darley Stakes winner Monarchs Glen (Frankel).
