Anders is SW73 for Not A Single Doubt after winning Saturday’s Listed Rosebud (1100m) at Rosehill on his seasonal reappearance.
Breaking smartly, Anders quickly settled on the lead and set an even tempo to the home turn where he quickened clear, coming away to defeat Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) by 4-3/4 lengths with The Face (Rubick) a further 2-1/4 lengths away third.
It is the third win from seven starts for the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Anders, which sold for $670,000 to Aquis Farm as a Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling when offered by Arrowfield.
Anders is one of three winners out of Madame Andree (War Emblem) and is a three-quarter brother to the Listed Gosford Guineas runner-up Battleground (Snitzel).
The granddam Glamour Stock (Sunday Silence) is a half-sister to four stakes winners including Gr1 Metropolitan Handicap winner and sire Exciting Story (Diablo) and Natalma Stakes winner Diablo’s Story (Diablo).
Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) was retired from active service at Arrowfield Stud earlier this year due to pulmonary disease.
