Think It Over is seventh Gr1 winner for So You Think winning Saturday’s George Ryder Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill.
Think It Over graduated to Gr.1 level with a hard fought success, coming from worse than midfield to the home turn and then finishing strongly between horses to edge Avilius and Dreamforce in a driving finish – the first four covered by one length.
It is the third stakes win in 23 starts for the Kerry Parker-trained son of So You Think (High Chaparral).
10-time Gr1 winner So You Think was advertised at $38,500 at Coolmore in New South Wales last season and has enjoyed good success with mares from the Danehill-line including Gr1 winners Quick Thinker, Nakeeta Jane, Inference and D’Argento.
Think It Over is the best of four winners out of the unraced Personal Service (Zabeel), a half-sister to four-time Gr.1 winner Universal Prince (Scenic), whose wins included the Australian Derby and Ranvet Stakes, as well as Gr.1 Sangster Stakes at Morphettville winner Universal Queen (Scenic).
Personal Service is also a half-sister to Razzia (Scenic), the dam of Gr2 Karrakatta Plata at Ascot winner Lucy Mae (Stratum) and to Soft Landing (Al Maher), the dam of this season’s Gr.1 Coolmore Classic at Rosehill winner Krone (Eurozone).
The granddam Biscay Bird (Bluebird) is a winning half-sister to Victoria Derby winner and sire Blevic (Scenic).
