Wednesday’s Windsor Castle Stakes winner Tactical is the sixth stakes winner for Toronado.
Bred and raced by HM The Queen, for whom it is a 24th Royal victory, Tactical is out of Make Fast (Makfi), a winner at two in England and runner-up in the Listed Radley Stakes at Newbury and Surrey Stakes at Epsom.
The granddam Rami Coya (Van Nistelrooy) won three races including the Gr3 Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket.
Toronado (High Chaparral) shuttles between France and Australia. He is advertised at €8,000 at the Haras de Bouquetot in France and at A$27,500 at Swettenham Stud in Victoria in 2020.
