Bred by Cheveley Park Stud, Molatham is a half-brother to two winners out of Cantal (Pivotal), a winning half-sister to Gr3 Brigadier Gerard Stakes at Sandown winner Autocratic (Dubawi) and Gr3 Horris Hill Stakes at Newbury winner Ecasive (Elusive Quality).
The granddam Canda (Storm Cat) finished second in the Listed Prix Yacowlef at Deauville and his third-dam East Of The Moon (Private Account) won the Prix de Diane, the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and the Prix Jacques le Marois.
Molatham’s fourth dam is the champion Miesque (Nureyev).
