Showmanship is SW43 for Showcasing after winning Saturday’s Chandler Macleod Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley.

It is the seventh win from eight starts for Showmanship, sold as a New Zealand Bloodstock Premier yearling to agent John Chalmers for $145,000.
Inbred 4×4 to Danzig, Showmanship is a brother to Perth winner and Gr3 Taranaki Classic third La Mouline and a half-brother to Listed Singapore Gold Cup winner Bahana (Elusive City).
Their dam Khales (Don Eduardo) raced once and a sister to Listed placed Lara’s Glitter and a half-sister to Glitter Woman (Fusaichi Pegasus0, the granddam of Gr1 Australasian Oaks winner Princess Jenni (High Chaparral).
Showmanship’s granddam Precious Glitter (Danehill) won the Gr2 Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill and his sixth dam the famous Courtly Dee (Never Bend).
Showcasing was the Leading sire of 2YOs in New Zealand in 2014-15 when shuttling to Haunui Farm. He is now a permanent resident at Whitsbury Manor Stud in England.
