Written Beauty is SW40 for Written Tycoon winning the Gr3 Red Roses Stakes (1100m) for 3yo fillies at Flemington.
Breaking sharply and settled on the front rank towards the stands side of the straight course, Written Beauty looked a little lost 400m out but once galvanised by Willie Pike finished gamely to edge Marboosha (Dream Ahead) and Celestine (Nicconi) in a driving finish.
Bred and raced by Orbis Bloodstock, Written Beauty is now the winner of four of her five starts and second in the other.
She is one of seven stakes horses out of the winning Beauty World (Danehill Dancer) and a half-sister to four stakes winners in Gr3 Frank Packer Plate at Randwick winner Hi World High Chaparral), Gr3 Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic at Ascot winner Lite’n In My Veins (Henrythenavigator), Listed Talindert Stakes at Flemington winner Ducimus (Snitzel) and Listed Abell Stakes at Moonee Valley winner Loveyamadly (Bel Esprit), the dam of this seasons Gr3 HDF McNeil Stakes winner Immortal Love (Snitzel).
Written Beauty is the third new stakes winner this week for Written Tycoon (Iglesia), advertised at $77,000 at Arrowfield Stud in 2020.
