Settled in second place shortly after the start, Harper came under a ride early in the home straight but stayed on well to defeat Reina Madre (Kingman) by 1-3/4 lengths with Guerre d’Amour (Camelot) in third.
Inbred 5×4 to Slightly Dangerous through her sons Warning and Deploy, it is the second win from as many starts for Harper, initially sold for 800gns as a Tattersalls foal then 26,000gns as a Tattersalls October yearling.
He is a half-brother to four winners including Tesaurus (Aqlaam) with his granddam Big Pink (Bigstone) an unraced half-sister to three-time French Gr3 winner Pink (Northern Dancer) and to French Listed winners Ring Pink (Bering) and Lypink (Lyphard).
