Tokyo Gold is SW32 for Kendargent after winning Saturday’s Prix Haras de Bouquetot-Criterium de L’Ouest at Craon.
Settled in second place early by Mickaelle Michel, Tokyo Gold went to the front rounding the home turn and then stayed on gamely to hold off Ludo (Penny’s Picnic) and score by a head with Avrilomanoir (Penny’s Picnic) a neck away in third.
Tokyo Gold is a brother to Gr1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Notte Bianca, their dam Listed Premio Repubbliche Marinare winner Biancarosa (Dalakhani).
The granddam Rosa di Brema (Lomitas) finished runner-up in the Oaks d’Italia.
Kendargent is advertised at €15,000 at the Haras de Colleville in France in 2020.
