Thursday’s Galtres Stakes (12f) winner at York Gold Wand is SW3 for Golden Horn.
Gold Wand came to challenge two furlongs out then finished best to defeat Vivionn (Dubawi) and Award Scheme (Siyouni).
Inbred 4×4 to Danzig, Gold Wand is bred on the reverse Danzig / Mr Prospector cross as Golden Horn and is now the winner of two of her five starts, placing in a further two.
Her dam Los Ojitos (Mr Greeley) won three races in the US and finished third in the Gr2 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct and a half-sister to Listed placed Lucky Girasol (Lookin At Lucky).
The granddam Warrior Girl (War Chant) won three times and third in the Gr3 Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland.
